When I started The Tech Guy, Inc, my goal was to offer quality products and services on a per client basis. This allows me to get to know each client as well as their technology needs. My clients get the same technician on every visit. From computer repair and mobile device assistance, to complex home entertainment systems. I provide quality workmanship with a good attitude. I stand behind my work and the products I sell. I go the extra mile to make sure every client is happy with the services and products that I provide.
When it comes to the brands I sell, I choose products based on their reliability and ability to integrate well with other devices. This is key to having a trouble free system that is also easy to use. Below are some of the brands I use on my projects.
THE TECH GUY GUARANTEE
This Guarantee is offered exclusively to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
First Year
Equipment: For products purchased from The Tech Guy, Inc. that are currently under the manufacturer's warranty, The Tech Guy, Inc. will coordinate the REPAIR of the product with the manufacturer on behalf of the customer. The Tech Guy, Inc. will provide labor to remove the product, send it in for repair, and re-install it. Shipping charges will not be covered, though most manufacturers cover the shipping costs in the first year.
Installation: The Tech Guy, Inc. will cover any issues related to defects in our installation or workmanship.
Second Year
Equipment: For products purchased from The Tech Guy, Inc. that are currently under the manufacturer's warranty, The Tech Guy, Inc. will coordinate the REPAIR of the product with the manufacturer on behalf of the customer. The customer will be charged for labor to remove the product, send it in for repair, and re-install it. Shipping charges will not be covered.
Installation: The Tech Guy, Inc. will cover any issues related to defects in our installation or workmanship.
Third Year & Beyond
All service calls and repairs are billable.
This guarantee does not cover:

Damage to components caused by anything other than defects in materials or workmanship.

Damage or defects caused by abnormal or unreasonable use. (Including unauthorized system modifications, repairs and specifically, alterations by a person or party other than The Tech Guy, Inc.)

Damage or defects resulting from acts of nature, such as lightning or flood. (These items may be covered under your home owner’s or other insurance)

Damage or defects resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect.

Damage or defects resulting from improper installation, removal, or maintenance by a person or party other than The Tech Guy, Inc.

Any product, service or system not purchased through The Tech Guy, Inc. and installed through The Tech Guy, Inc.

Any client education/ re-education more than 90 days after the date of substantial completion.

Any product that has had its serial number removed or altered.

Handheld remote control batteries more than 90 days after the date of substantial completion.

Projection lamps more than 90 days after the date of substantial completion.

Programming changes more than 90 days after the date of substantial completion.

Consumable items including, but not limited to, projector lamps, filters, plasma panels and burn-ins, batteries and other items.
*This guarantee is null and void for any systems which include main components (excluding HDTV monitors or projectors) not purchased through The Tech Guy, Inc.
*This guarantee does not cover system function, operation or customer education for any system that does not include a control device.
*Remote manufacturer can identify abuse (i.e. if the remote has been dropped, liquid spills, etc). Remote abuse is not covered under any warranty.
*Guarantee does not include temporary replacement equipment if your unit requires service.
